For Physical, Sensory and Learning Disabilities
I provide one-to-one and small group yoga sessions for children and adults with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, learning disabilities, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), complex needs, and physical or sensory impairments. My approach is informed by specialist training with Special Yoga and over 15 years experience working alongside disabled people.
Each session is thoughtfully tailored to promote physical ease, emotional regulation, sensory integration, and a deep sense of calm and connection — meeting each person exactly where they are.

Yoga is a science, a philosophy and a way of living and being.
Special yoga works to ensure that everyone can access yoga practices as a profound resource to better health in the mind and body. I’ll never make judgments about a client and what they can do based on their diagnosis. My work is led by…

Humility
It is from a place of humility that our yoga practice begins. Everyone I have the privilege to work with is a great gift. Humility ensures we develop trust and intuition and work from our hearts.

Trust
To trust is to believe. I trust in the yoga practices we share together, knowing that positive change is always possible. I trust myself, trust the student and trust the process.

Patience
Patience is important for all aspects of special yoga, patience for ourselves, each other and for any perceived progress. It ensures we practice yoga with no expectation of outcomes, removing all pressure from the individual.
